Matson Mercantile- Elk, CA.
Matson Mercantile is nestled in my childhood stomping grounds of Elk. This town and the three sisters who own and run Matson Mercantile have my heart. The Matson trio carry a carefully curated rotating selection of my best pieces year-round. If you’re visiting the Mendocino Coast this small town has triumphant food options, fine shopping focusing on local artisanal products, and the best beach anywhere. You’re welcome!

Trillium Cafe, Mendocino, CA
Trillium Cafe in Mendocino carries a special collection of individually painted, carved, inlayed, and glazed Trillium cups. Each 12-16 oz cup is unique and showcases my favorite part of the process of making: intuitive and meticulous surface decoration. These highlight the rare and delicate Trillium Flower that grows in Mendocino’s rich redwood forest ecosystem. Whether you’re a local who awaits the first trillium bloom of the season or a visitor looking for a unique reminder of your adventures here, these cups offer an opportunity to appreciate the rare beauty of this singular flower… and the casual but tasty food and beautiful garden seating of this Mendocino gem.

Noyo Center for Marine Science, Fort Bragg , CA
Yay, Marine Science! The pieces I have at Noyo Center are inspired by our unique coastal marine ecosystem. When volunteering for the Noyo Center, I see first hand the necessity for scientific advocacy and education in our local schools.
Noyo Center for Marine Science is supported when you buy a cup and you get to bring home functional art that honors the essential ecosystem of kelp off our coastline.
Please visit Noyo’s Visitor Center on Main Street in Fort Bragg to see in person a real Orca skeleton and learn about their valuable work here.
