This speckled tumbler holds plenty of liquid and honors a harvest moon. There is a visible history of process, on the surface of this subtly squared tumbler; initially a round, tall cup, then pushed from the inside out to encourage four corners of a square, then returned to round at the lip. Brush strokes of dripping white underglaze peek through the clear glaze. Finally, a Harvest Moon painted in gold and another firing to bring an honorary vessel to completion. It is round with a square pushing against the round to fill the palms of both hands. Lovely for iced tea, lemon water or a nice big cider, it holds 16-18 oz.
